Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Webline Technologies (PVT) LTD, the company that makes Jadefall. By installing or playing the game, or making a Jadefall account, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
The game
Jadefall is a free mobile game for Android, with iPhone and iPad versions planned. It has no advertising and no in-app purchases. Our Privacy Policy explains what data the game and the optional account use; it is part of these terms.
Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install Jadefall on devices you own or control and to play it for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not:
- copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the game or any part of it;
- decompile, reverse engineer or modify the game, except where the law allows it despite this term;
- extract or reuse its art, music, voices, characters or code;
- use the game, its servers or its leaderboards in a way that breaks the law or harms other players or us.
Coins and in-game items
Coins, runners, upgrades, boosters, relics, trophies, trails and finishes are earned by playing. They have no real-world money value, cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money or anything else, and belong to the game rather than to you. We may rebalance prices, rewards and items when we update the game.
Accounts
You can play without an account. If you make one:
- you must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country requires it to agree to these terms on your own; if you are under 18, make sure a parent or guardian is happy with you using an account;
- use your own email address, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account;
- an account is for one person; do not share, sell or transfer it;
- you are responsible for what happens under your account.
You can delete your account at any time in the game (Settings, Account, Delete account) or at jadefall.webline.lk/account/delete.
Display names and conduct
Your display name is shown to other players on the leaderboards. It must not:
- be offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening or harassing;
- impersonate another person, brand or member of our team;
- contain personal information about anyone, links or advertising.
Any player can report a display name from the leaderboard. A name reported by several players is replaced automatically, and we may rename, hide or remove names and accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.
Fair play
Leaderboards are only fun if they are fair. Do not use cheats, bots, modified versions of the game, emulator tricks or anything that sends scores the game did not produce, and do not attack, overload or probe our servers. We check runs automatically and may remove scores, reset progress or close accounts that we reasonably believe were cheating.
Ownership
Jadefall, its name, logo, characters, art, music, voices and code belong to Webline Technologies (PVT) LTD or to the creators who licensed them to us. Credits for third-party assets are listed in the game under Settings, Credits. These terms do not give you any rights to them beyond the licence above.
App stores
If you get Jadefall from Google Play or the App Store, that store's own terms also apply to your download. The store is not responsible for the game or for support; we are. If you use the iOS version, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you, and these terms prevail over Apple's standard licence only where the two differ and the law allows.
Changes and availability
We work to keep Jadefall running well, but we may update, change or remove features, realms or items, take the servers offline for maintenance, or stop offering online features. The game itself keeps working offline. We may update these terms; the new version will be published here with a new date. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms.
Ending these terms
You can stop at any time by deleting the game and, if you have one, your account. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. The sections on ownership, liability and law continue to apply after the terms end.
Warranty and liability
Jadefall is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted or error-free or that your progress or scores will never be lost, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits arising from the game. Our total liability to you for anything related to the game is limited to the amount you paid us for it, which is zero, or the minimum the law requires. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. If a problem comes up, please contact us first; most things can be solved by email. Otherwise the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction, except where the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
